Define a charter for which the Team Leaders should observe. This charter represents the behaviours and culture of the business and how colleagues would wish to be treat. Workshops will take place with the management team, the team leaders and a selection of colleagues. This will involve a structured approach over a day.
A charter will be published, circulated amongst colleagues and management. Charter posters will be produced with the bottom of the charter containing the signatures of all Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders. These posters will be displayed around the location and a guide to ways of working in line with the charter will be shared with the Managers, Supervisors & Team Leaders.
Once the charter and ways of working have been defined, agreed and promoted, every colleague reporting to Team Leaders on the programme will be interviewed. The interview is an informal and confidential session, usually lasting 15-20 minutes.
Colleagues will be asked a series of questions around the charter and specifically how their own Team Leader works towards them. Once all colleagues have been interviewed, the combined results along with specific (none identifying) feedback will be put into our analysis software which produces a unique report specific to that Team Leader.
The report will give a rating by category and overall and the objective is to have Team Leaders hitting a minimum agreed standard over the 6 month development programme.
